The 90s fashion is typically called "ant fashion" because of many facts, but ant fashion wasn’t the only one trend along the decade. The 90s fashion was characterized by minimalist styles, as well as others.

The most significant fashion was the rise of grunge fashion in 1992, that consist in wearing flannel shirts for both sex, giving to them an appearance unkempt and androgynous. It became popular because of the band Nirvana, that has as a leader the singer Kurt Cobain.

The tight lycra was used as an alternative to grunge with mini dresses in lycra or with lycra shorts that combined with just a top.

Catwoman in the1994 Batman Returns film, made that catsuit enjoyed popularity, also Victoria Beckham used to wear them in several Spice Girls videos.

Finally the black leather jacket was very popular for men and women, because of artists like Michael Jackson and Maddona, whose always wear them.
